HizonSun Brings 180kW DC Fast Chargers to Thailand, Supporting the Kingdom's 12,000-Charger Target
Thailand's electric mobility market is growing rapidly. Cumulative electric car registrations reached 435,630 units by April 2026, supported by the government's EV3.5 incentive scheme, which runs through 2027, and the "30@30" target of making 30% of domestic vehicle production zero-emission by 2030. Public fast charging is expanding quickly in response: Thailand had approximately 5,782 DC fast-charging points in December 2024 and around 8,595 by January 2026, with 3,720 public stations and 11,622 chargers recorded as of March 2025.
Yet supply still trails demand. Thailand's national target is 12,000 DC fast-charging points by 2030, and today's coverage remains concentrated in Greater Bangkok and major tourist destinations, leaving provincial areas and national highway corridors underserved. For charging operators, the strategic priority is clear: deploy high-power chargers along corridors and in commercial hubs to serve long-distance travel, ride-hailing fleets, taxis and commercial vehicles — exactly the scenarios the 180kW class was designed for.
HizonSun's 180kW DC fast charger is built on the company's proven integrated DC fast-charging platform (60–360kW) and is engineered for high-throughput commercial operation:
With this move, HizonSun continues to strengthen its Southeast Asian footprint, building on exports to more than 40 countries and regions across the United States, Europe, Southeast Asia and beyond, supported by 36 global sales and service centers.
